Meet Swiyah Whittington, LPMHC.
LPMHC means Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor. Swiyah is licensed in Delaware, is the founder of STAMP Love, and is the therapist behind this practice.

Swiyah's work is grounded in the belief that therapy should meet you as a whole person — your story, your body, your community, and the very real conditions of your life. Her full bio and training background will be added here as it is finalized.
Her primary specialty is trauma and PTSD, and she is known for healing generational trauma. Her mission, in her words: "Building strong families within communities to have brighter futures."
Her ideal client, in her words, is "the person who has spent years being strong for everyone else and is finally ready to become intentional about healing themselves."
She practices an integrative approach built on three modalities — CBT, somatic, and mindfulness-based — and pays attention to what the body is holding alongside what's said in conversation. Somatic work pays attention to what is happening in your body, not just your thoughts, because stress and past experiences can be felt physically as well as mentally.
Swiyah works with adults, children, adolescents, and families — in person at the Wilmington office in New Castle County, and by telehealth anywhere in Delaware. She is licensed in Delaware only.
